Super-Hub
Designed by a team led by WSP and architects Wilkinson Eyre, Old Oak Common is the largest new railway station ever built in the UK, with an estimated 250,000 people passing through every day.
New Neighbourhood
The high-speed station’s design ensures seamless, accessible and stress-free travel. But Old Oak Common is much more than just a stop on the daily commute – it is set to transform the former railway and industrial area into a vibrant neighbourhood with 25,500 new homes.
Above and Beyond
With such bold ambitions, the landmark project needed a retail strategy that would go above and beyond the usual consumer experience. Collaborating with the team, we’ve identified a series of immersive opportunities for retail, relaxation, work and play across the underground and surface levels as well as in the new public parkland.
“Old Oak Common is so much more than a railway station – it's a destination in its own right.”
Simon Scott, Director
