Expansive Experiences
The new sustainable, state-of-the-art Third Runway Concourse (TRC) will serve an additional 30 million passengers every year while delivering an innovative, exciting and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Team
Working with Aedas, AECOM and OTC, we’ve developed the commercial masterplan and designed the commercial spaces in the building. The project includes a two-level retail hub with flexible zones for pop-up art installations and retail opportunities and a central landscaped courtyard.
Green Ambition
With ambitions to be one of the world’s greenest airports, the sustainable passenger terminal uses passive and intelligent engineering to reduce energy consumption. The project is designed to achieve Gold status under Hong Kong’s BEAM plus sustainability assessment and accreditation system.
“Our design-led research has helped to shape the terminal building and deliver an unparalleled passenger experience and commercial hub benchmark.”
