The scheme will deliver circa 30,000sqft of best-in-class flexible workplace as part of a wider enhancement masterplan at Trafalgar Place, at the heart of the City of Brighton.

We have pushed the ESG criteria in our design, aiming for high scores in BREEAM & WELL, as well as enhanced specifications to reduce embodied carbon. The new rooftop extensions will be framed in hybrid steel and cross-laminated timber, with integrated sustainable technology. The statement sawtooth roof supports extensive PV arrays and skylight windows to improve the daylight quality within the working environments and breakout spaces. Furthermore, passive systems including natural ventilation are adopted alongside new landscape terraces, which will provide skyline amenity and green retreat to the office spaces with views towards the seafront.

We thank our client Schroders Capital and the design team for their creativity and vision to get this project approved and look forward to developing the next stages of this exciting development together.
