Bright Future
Grimsby has suffered from an exodus of retailers leaving behind empty shopfronts and a deteriorating high street. Secured by the government’s Future High Street Fund, our plans will drive positive transformational change and turn the fortunes of the town centre.
Day and Night
The scheme reimagines the heart of the town centre, reconfiguring the west end of Freshney Place shopping centre into a new public square and mixed-use destination for the community. As well as delivering a new market, the scheme creates a cinema, leisure units and food and drink outlets, bolstering Grimsby’s day and evening economy.
RetroFirst
Our plans carefully consider the existing building fabric and we are retaining parts of existing structures that still have life to give. As well as improving programme and budget efficiency, this will significantly improve the carbon cost of the redevelopment.
“This is more than the redevelopment of a failing shopping centre – this is a carefully considered plan for the long-term sustainability of Grimsby's town centre.”
Nick Strachan, Director
